I have been going to Mayhalls for many years for all of my sewing needs! Alex and his staff are friendly, honest, and hardworking people who making going into their establishment a great part of any day! There are many different sewing classes available to learn new techniques on any machine, which is very nice. They repair and sell all makes and models of sewing machines. If your ever in the area be sure to check Mayhalls out. You won't be disappointed!

Well, I feel obligated to help out my fellow sewers find a new resource in Los Angeles by telling them about this spot. So, I was taking a corset-making class at Trade Tech and had finally reached the point where I needed a zipper foot. I have an old Singer machine and could not find anything at Joanne's. The woman working in the sewing machine section was kind of enough to give me the information for Mayhall though. I headed over to this quaint little place in Montrose and lo and behold, they had all the foots that I needed. They also had a number of nice little sewing accessories. The people there were also nice enough to show me the Bernina's as they are an authorized seller of these machines. I may have to go back there and get one
